I went to CC Nails and Spa on 7/13/18 at 3pm to do a dip powder manicure on my natural nails. I was assisted immediately and my nail tech Vivian did an AMAZING job! I've had acrylic full sets done a few times in the past, and its nothing compared to how beautiful my real nails look with dip. I seriously was not expecting to be in love with them, and I truly am. 06/8/2018, arrived about 12:30, clean nails (no polish or acrylics) had already cut my nails and semi-filed to avoid delays on that, as I went during my lunch break. When I was asked what I wanted I was very clear that I was on my lunch break and asked if this would present a problem. I was assured it would not.One hour later, the manager (thin short lady with balyage long hair) had managed to cut my cuticles. She stepped away every two minutes, to help clients walking in, paint someones' toes, and to chit-chat. All the while I waited, quietly and patiently. Three clients walked in after me (another mani, and two pedis), and they were all being helped while I waited sitting with no help.After, an hour a guy (short, pink shirt, spikey hair), of which no one told me he would be helping me, sat in front of me and started to drill my nails. This, was after they convinced me to get their powder ($40) instead of shellac ($35). I asked him why he was going to drill if they said this product is meant to help my nails be healthy (drilling is the opposite of that) and he ignored me. He looked to the tech to his left and said something in Vietnamese and laughed. She replied in Vietnamese and added, "it's her first time". Clearly I was the joke. I then decided it was time to leave.They still had the audacity to charge me $16 for a manicure and a bad time.By far the worst treatment I have ever received and they will forever lose my business. I’ve been going to this salon for almost two years. I get my nails done by a tech name T. I sooooo love her. She always take care of me!. High quality skills, great conversations and she gives the best massages. Before coming to this salon 2 years ago I could never find a place to give me great service. But not one time since I’ve came here have I not been completely happy when I come see T. There are also times when Ive messed my nails up or something happens to them and she always makes sure she fix it or have someone at the salon take care of me. I appreciate the fact that this nail salon is open about an hour later than most in the city. I had an event and popped in about 20 minutes before close for a polish change and manicure. I was super turned off by the nail tech putting her bare feet on top of the foot spa while doing my nails. It was late and I was just glad they were still open so I didn't say anything. My nails came out just ok but again, I didn't care because I had somewhere to be. So I get ready to pay and it's $25!!! I understand they are close to the Galleria but $10 for a polish change? That's a little ridiculous. Especially since it wasn't the best job AT ALL!!! I probably won't go back to this place unless like that last time, i have somewhere to be and it's the only place open. Should not take on customers when they are not able to and then lie about the wait time. Wasted an hour of my day, no one communicated the wait time even when asked. Respect your customers time - I would have come back rather than sit there with 5 others with my feet in cold water wondering when we would be taken care of. Read Less

I have been coming here for over a year and loved this salon. The gel manicure lasted a long time and they always did a great job. My last experiences haven't been the case. I got my nails done last Friday and the polish changed colors within two days. I thought I wouldn't have an issue getting the color swapped out. I was told it was probably the chemicals in my hairspray that changed the color. That's fine. But the nail tech that removed the color and painted the new shellac was so rude about it. She made my cuticles bleed, mind you I had a manicure a week before so didn't need my cuticles touched. She hastily painted the new color, did a horrible job and didn't even do a top coat. After all is done still charged me the full price. I understand it's a business that needs to make money, however after coming for a year I think it's poor service to not only do a bad job but also charge me for it. Sadly I won't be coming back. I think it's great, the girls are always nice, the place is very clean (VERY) they are always making sure you get a good service even if you get a basic mani-pedi which I always get ... They are friendly, so they get more than 1 star for that. I've been here a few times and had a technician who was very good named "T." I requested her for an appointment and I had to wait 20 min for her to finish with someone else. T set everything up and then another tech sat down. I had to raise a stink to get T, the person I requested, to do my service. The next time I showed up, 2 different ladies did my manicure and pedicure at the same time, which I don't like unless I'm pressed for time because the manicure is uncomfortable when you're not sitting at a table. I requested hot tea and the cleaning lady brought it out in a mug with lipstick on it. The pedicure took forever and the chair was not comfortable. The manicure was poorly done - I saw some of my old polish near my cuticles when I looked at it closely the next day. I really needed to get my brows done and the waxing place next door was all booked up, so the manicurist offered to do it. My left eyebrow is now noticeably shorter than the right one. Those 3 services were $80. They are nice women, but they have no idea what they're doing and charge too much for the level of service they provide. I will not be back. Read Less

I used to come here all the time but I moved and started going to a location closer to home. Now that I moved back to the area I've come twice and both times the pedis and massages have been great but my manicure shave been sloppy. It seems that their people have gotten lazy and comfortable. The first time back the lady didn't seem to know how to cut my nails and so they ended up uneven and breaking/chipping 2 days later. The second time the lady just slapped some nail polish barely touched my cuticles and put absolutely 0 lotion on my hand so they were dryer then when I came in. She didn't ask me what type of manicure I wanted either. My husband gets pedicures with me and both times they hurt him. I will definitely not be coming back. Read Less

Today was my first time going into this nail salon, and I have to say, I will definitely be going back from now on. The ladies are all so friendly and they offer you something to drink. And let me say, I miss you nails have never looked this good. The place is extremely clean and you don't have to worry about waiting for a long time because they have a group full of staff! And the prices are not bad at all for what you get. I paid $30 for a full set of acrylics and my friend paid $35 for a deluxe pedicure. It was all worth the money. Read Less

I was a walk-in on a Friday afternoon, and I was totally prepared for a wait. To my surprise, I was seated immediately and offered a glass of wine. I opted for the deluxe pedicure ($35), and it was beyond worth it. Trish, my nail tech, was very gentle and attentive, plus she gave me a lengthy foot massage. I felt extremely relaxed! I was even offered a second complimentary glass of wine, a very generous pour at that. This salon is clean, stylish and spacious. Plus, the service is great. If I could give this place zero stars I would. The "manager" did my eyebrows while I was getting a pedicure. This was the first issue. She said the table they had in the back was not sturdy enough. Ok.... while getting my pedicure the technician repeatedly cut my skin. I told her several times that she was hurting me. Fast forward to my eye brows. They were uneven and horrible. I let them know that I was highly disappointed. She kept saying that because of a scar on my brow that's why. I've gotten them done for over 20 years with the same scar and have never had any issues. I stopped in the middle of my pedicure and proceeded to leave after I had been cut to the point of bleeding on my big toe. When I got to the register, they charged me for a partial pedicure & the horrible brows and told me that if I had a problem that I can go somewhere else. 4 stars rather than 5 because of the pricing. See explanation below. The work they do is good, and it's clean. They've always been very kind. As a loyal customer I come here to either refill or change color every 3 weeks, and today the price surged for whatever reason. The past 20 times I've been there it has been $30 for a refill and $40 for a color change. Today they charged me $47. When I asked them about the change, they said its because it wasn't a refill. But every other time I've gone it's always been $40. Long story short, they made me pay the $47. It's just $7 but if they aren't going to be firm on pricing, or listen to their customers, I will find a new nail salon. Read Less

First time here...was extremely skeptical because of the reviews. I let the receptionist and the nail tech know before anyone touched me that I needed someone who can take care of my nails. Was nice about it. I had to wait 30 minutes but got Lynn who not only fixed the sh*t job of a manicure I had but she took the extra time to make sure it was impeccable. Have been using them since they opened and you can tell that over time the service is getting crappy and the price is going up slightly. The initial staff have all left and replaced with new girls with less experience and attention to details. The final factor today was how they play games regarding their special vs menu item. If your write "free" next to an item on the menu, why is the price more than special if the rest is same? Nonetheless it seems their focus is quantity of clients per day over quality if service. I've been here 4 times. All fine, nothing special. Today I went in to take off the dip and get a regular mani/pedi. They literally asked me 7 times to do dip or shellac after I said no each time.The mani/pedi where a complete disaster. The lady that did my mani didn't take the cuticle off correctly so it was meshed in with the nail polish. Then someone else came and fixed some of it and redid the polish. Then on the pedi they forgot to put the top coat so I sat there for 20 minutes and the polish ran off when I checked to see if it was dry. They kept talking to each other and I had no idea what they where saying. Finally I said just charge me so I can go. It's been over 2 hours and I am done here. $50 later my nails look terrible.Giving them 2 stars because the other times i was ok with the dip. Read Less

Had to wait a long time because the workers placed two people who came after me, before me . I requested the $35 special that's on the flyer but I was charged $65 and I didn't get the massage. I request hands and toes to be painted with the same color. It was not done. I have white on my hands and pink on my toes. The nail polish on my toes look lumpy and faded in other ares. Maybe the workers could do a quality job if the man wasn't rush everyone around and they did turn on timers... Never going back! Read Less

Got stuck in traffic and missed my appointment with my amazing manicurist Nikki at Prestigious Nails. Had to resort to a plan B and go to nail salon near my office. Big mistake! The sloppiest manicure I've ever had in my life. The technician didn't care at all about health of my nails. First she scraped my nails too hard and then proceeded to file down my nails to a paper thin level when she couldn't get the gel off. The nail polish was uneven and just plain messy. And to make it worse she stood over me as i signed my credit card slip almost trying to force me to give her a tip. I wont even go back. Will stick my regular manicurist! Read Less

I've been here 2 times before Tuesday's visit. Usually it's a pretty smooth visit and the service is good.Tuesday's visit was anything but good. [Im posting this on Saturday because I wanted to give it another shot before posting a less than stellar review]. I scheduled an appointment for 2:15 to get a refill. I arrive at about 2:10. I walked in and stood at the front counter and no one greeted me for a minute or so until a lady asked what I wanted. I mentioned I had an appointment and she told me to sit down.I watched two other people walk in after me (that didn't have appointments) get greeted AND serviced before me. The manager ended up starting in my nails after awkward exchanges with the other technicians.Halfway through, a lady took over for the manager. The refill I got was sloppy and rough with chunks of powder still being left under the nail itself. I spent 2 hours getting a refill that shouldn't have taken that long. Overall, Tuesday's experience just was not good and come to find out they charged me extra for a powder color change (which was not communicated to me at any point during the process). Update:My nail broke 2 days later. Came back in today (Saturday :/) to get it fixed. Manager started doing my nails and kept complaining that "I need to always remember who does my nails" x "they have over 3000 customers so I need to remember". I told him ok each time (I get it!), even though I brought in the name of the nail color so it wouldn't be hard to find. Idk why my experience and service received is different from everyone else who has reviewed the place but I won't be returning here. Read Less

Best nail salon of this demographic (basically I mean shopping center, not fancy spa) in Houston. Hellen gives me a PERFECT shellac manicure that lasts two weeks at a minimum, sometimes even three depending on how much I pick at it towards the end. For $35 they give you the shellac manicure and an awesome lengthy shoulder massage.Love love love this place! Read Less

Fantastic nail spot, super clean and I will go back.The pricing is a good value for the level of service you receive and the upgrades are worth it! I got a basic manicure and a deluxe pedicure and the total came out to around 52 (not including tip). The techs know exactly what they're doing in terms of shaping your nails and callus removal so all you have to do is relax and enjoy your treatment. The only thing I didn't love is that they don't officially take American Express cards and that's important to me because it's really the only card I have on me at all times. However, I called ahead and they were super accommodating and we worked something out so still a 5 star review (again, it's all about the fantastic service). Read Less

I always upgrade to Deluxe or Organic Spa and I have noticed that you get more value for your money if you go with the Basic Pedicure.With the basic you get a shoulder massage, but with my upgrade I do not.Also, I am a good tipper, and on one occasion I was caught off guard because the manicurist directly asked me for a $5.00 tip.On my last visit, the manicurist only covered half of my little toe with nail polish.....my little toe nail splits in two and maybe she thought it would look better that way (?). I noticed it when I had already made it home, and I did not want to go back just for that. The one thing I enjoyed fully was the massage chair.Read Less

I've gone here 3 times and am always seated as soon as I walk through the door which is good. However, my last experience wasn't too pleasant. The nail tech Sara didn't know I was Vietnamese so she was talking about me in Viet. She didn't file my nails evenly. And I had to correct 4 out of 10 of my fingers. If I hadn't said anything it wouldn't be even. And my thumb is still uneven. I got clear tips and shellac over it and a pedicure. She did 3-4 coats of shellac which made my nails look wayyy too thick. When it was done, my nails were dirty underneath with paint still on the sides of my nails. She said a lot of stuff about me in Vietnamese thinking I wouldn't understand but I clearly look Vietnamese! I told the manager about my experience and she told me to come back to fix it. Read Less

This place is awesome! So on Saturday around 6:30 pm I decide to get a manicure. My normal nail shop closes at 7 pm. I found this gem tucked away near the galleria area, in a complex with HEB and a Memorial Herman physician group, and guess what, they're open until 8pm!! Well you all know how Houston traffic can be, so I didn't make it there until 7:45pm. I know right! They were very pleasant in welcoming me and even stated they could do a pedicure if I elected! This place is very grandiose and immaculate. The decor is very chic and upscale. Tiffany was my nail technician and they turned out excellent!! Definitely will return. Read Less

I haven't even left yet and I'm typing this review. Tiffy & Crystal are THE BEST. I called Praying that they would take me in at 6:58pm (they close at 7:30) and a gentleman said "come right in!" And they sure did. I was greeted from the get go and sat down immediately and the ladies went to work. Tiffy took her time and gave me the most beautiful full set manicure and was such a sweet girl! Crystal gave me the best pedicure I've honestly had. I chose to upgrade to the Spa Pearl Pedicure and it was completely worth it! I'm so happy and I will definitely be returning! :) Thank You Girls! Had a pedicure with Tina and it was a great way to spend my lunch hour! It was extremely relaxing and she was very careful and detailed the entire time. I got the deluxe pedi and right off the bat she tried to sell me an organic honey pedi (or something, idk). Being someone who doesn't have $55 to just throw on a pedicure I kindly declined. I have never experienced this before but if I was working on commission, I'd probably do it too. The polish was great, I'm going 1 week and it looks great, nothing has chipped.
