  • 1 cup of milk
  • 3 tbsps of dry (instant) yeast
  • 1 stick (110g) of butter
  • 3 tbsps of sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ tsp of salt
  • 2 cups of raisins
  • oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 95°F (35°C).

  3. Add the remaining ingredients and knead the dough.
  4. Oil 2 bread pans using your hand or pastry brush.
  5. Place the dough into the pans.

  3. Mom and Grandma always made with golden raisins as do I. This is a must at Easter!
    A tip for raisins: soak in very warm water (not boiling) for about 20 minutes while kneading. Drain well and pat dry in a clean dish towel. Your raisins will stay plump and moist during baking. Helps bread to be more moist as well.
